Renato Santizo
RGS founder, a Ventura resident for 23 years has a background in Architecture, Commercial and Advertising production Art, and Graphic Design. Entrepreneur at 21 he started his first enterprise in commercial and publishing artwork.
QUALIFICATIONS:
He studied Architecture at the School of Architecture at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala in Guatemala City, holding positions as drafstman, engineer's assistant, and field inspector at structural and electrical engineering firms, fulfilling assignments in Institutional , hospitals, retail, and industrial projects. He studied Interior Design, Construction Technology & Architecture, earning an Associates in Science Architecture degree from Ventura College in Ventura, California. He also took studies in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design from the USGBC, and worked for architectural firms in Ventura doing residential, commercial and industrial assignments. He has conducted travel-studies through Spain, Italy, France, and Morocco, is affiliated member of the USGBC C-4 regional chapter. Renato is obtaining his green proffessional accreditation. He has lead RGS for 11 years, is dedicated, hard working, innovator, motivated by challenge with eye for color, composition, and detail.
The Team:
We are a flexible group who adapts to the demand and work flow. Starting in 2013 RGS Design is increasing the number of team members, allowing each member to work independently at differnt locations, using their specialized skills to complete fhe projects required tasks and deadlines. The new approach is intended to produce faster turnaround, and maintain competitiveness.We will be testing two virtual offices operating in conjunction with RGS main office, maintaining channels of communication and coordination through digital, voice and live camera sessions. Person to person meetings are scheduled to keep track of project progress and deadlines. We are also adding a labor force which assists with on demand services for landscape and construction duties. This team is comprised of experienced master masons, gardeners, painters, and carpenters, each one ready to tackle any challenging job.
We conceptualize the project, process the permit, provide a builder, and oversee construction, based on the LEED Green building system.
Collaboration:
Our daiily office work is characterized by continuous communication and analysis of the tasks at hand.
Our intent is to follow LEED system guidelines.
