RGS a former member of The National Trust for Historic Preservation believes preserving, retrofitting, or re-purposing structures avoids costly demolition, because there is no cheapest and greenest building than the one does not have to be built. We keep current with sustainable technologies to build responsibly if there is a need to build, and encourage the conservation of natural resources, reduction of energy consumption to minimize the impact on the environment and the health of building interiors.

We are stewards of our planet advocating diversion of building material from landfills and opt for alternate ways of working; in our practice we have eliminated the typical office, we remotely collaborate via digital conference, meeting only for crucial tasks. Thus, reducing carbon emissions and heat island effect, caused in part by the daily drive. Our notations stipulate Green Building Code strategies for conservation, indoor air quality, use of low or no VOC materials, and certified rapidly renewable FSC woods.
