About RGS Design Studio

RGS Design Studio, Inc. is a full-service design firm founded by Ren Santizo in 2002 and is dedicated to residential, commercial, and light industrial plan development. Its strength resides in working with building departments and associate professionals in obtaining entitlements for residences / ADU's, renovations tenant improvements for retail and restaurants, and other structures. 

RGS offers project pre-assessment, conceptual planning, construction documentation, project administration, and consultancy. It is also experienced with multifamily residential, and landscape design, it assists property owners in abating Code Compliance cases and works exhaustively to meet the requirements stipulated by the agency and the building code.

The Team

RGS team is comprised of principal Ren Santizo, drafters, an office assistant, and associates Structural, Civil / EMP engineers doing the support analysis. We produce and coordinate the needed documentation and work with builders during the planning phase for a fluid process. 

REN SANTIZO 

Principal Designer has over 25 years' experience in Architecture, background work experience in Advertising & Graphic Design, artist, engineer's assistant and field inspector for electric engineering firms doing medical institutions. After his tenure and collaboration at an architectural firm in California with residential and commercial projects, he founded RGS in 2002. He is a dedicated, hard-working, perfectionist, progressive innovator.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Alumni of School of Architecture -USAC University of San Carlos, Guatemala City, his course of study covers Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction Technology, he earned an Associates in Science Architecture from Ventura College in Ventura, California, and took private studies in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. He was affiliated member of the USGBC C-4 regional chapter from 2007 -2010.
He has conducted travel-studies through Spain, Italy, France, North Africa, and Mexico in diverse architectural styles, and has used empirical structural analysis in his work for 15 years.
